The Prince Building will be hosting a HackNY fundraiser for internet week, with support of many of the NYC User Groups: The New York Python User Group, NodeNYC, NYC Nodejs and the NYC Perl User Group.
HackNY is an organization that "aims to federate the next generation of hackers for the NY innovation community". For internet week, we'd like to get together and raise funds for the future tech innovators of New York City.
This event will be a celebration of HackNY, and we will invite HackNY fellows to attend. 10gen will provide drinks for the event.
Thanks to foursquare for providing the space, and to 10gen, ZocDoc and Thrillist for supporting the event along with the NYC user groups.
Pretty cool, I met about 6 people in good companies with diverse backgrounds in engineering, finance and more. I'll likely attend another one in the future.

There will be no structured coding session, but there will be ample picnic tables for those to code. Thanks for asking.

it's a get-together to celebrate the work HackNY does for New York City. If you have any ideas of a program that should happen, please feel free to share.
