We have evolved into the MOST wonderful group!  A good number of our members plug in all the time. We have a diverse schedule of activities, and each brings forth an interesting collection of personality!  We have between six and 35 people at our meetups depending on the activity.  Most of them average about 15 people, and there is no "clique" so you will fit in right away, and meet different people at every event.  What brings us together is our love of movies, but we also have all kinds of other events (keep reading) on our very full calendar!

Film-wise, this group gives us the opportunity to screen a diverse selection of current, classic, notable, and memorable films in commercial venues, private venues, dining venues, film festivals, libraries, and screening rooms. It also provides a nice social environment to eat, chat and laugh, and an opportunity to discuss afterwards the films we see.

We also add to our schedule live performances, comedy shows, dining events, and other cultural activities that we find interesting for our group. If you have any suggestions, please email us!

This is a great group and eclectic mix of men and women, single or married, of all cultures, walks of life, and ages... starting in our 20s and up! And while we are not a "singles" group, per se, several relationships and many wonderful friendships have been born here! It's always nice to meet someone when you are not really 'looking'!

PLEASE NOTE: As a rule, if you don't make it to the theater before we are seated, we reconvene in the lobby after every movie to discuss the movie and where to go for dinner or snacks or drinks. So if you get there late, just know that you can always hook up with us afterwards.

Please keep in mind that you are not rating the film itself, but instead, you are rating how you enjoyed the meetup event. Your comments, of course, can reflect your feelings about the film or the meetup.

*** Instead of imposing a Membership fee to help pay for the Meetup.com costs, we request that each attendee throw in a dollar at each event. Meetup.com charges the organizer $150. per year for the use of the meetup site. Some organizers have been known to go hog wild with membership fees, but you won't find that here.
