I have a gig on Sunday Dec 7 and can't make it. I'm a banjo picker from Voorhees and have been playing a lot of Irish for the past 4 years. I've been playing 5 string (Scruggs, some melodic for over 30 years). Looking forward to the Jan 4 jam. Also sing and play guitar.

Hi Bill - look forward to meeting you in Jan. Meanwhile, if you're looking for other BG picking opportunities, check out the picking shed at Albert Hall in Waretown, Sat. night. Lots of pickers there, every Sat. night.

Thanks Jim. I used to play on stage from time to time in Waretown back in the late 1990's with a good buddy who has since passed away. The pickin' shed is a good place for folks to get started but there aren't that many lead players. I especially miss playing with some good fiddle and mandolin players and am looking forward to meeting everybody next month. I played a four hour Irish Christmas festival on Dec. 7 and was just too tired to go to Princeton. I live in Voorhees Camden County. Bill

Agreed, great jam, and some awesome banjo players to inspire me to practice more! I had a lot of fun. I will have to work on Orange Blossom Special so Takuya can jam out again next time!

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
