If you want to take better photos of people, understand lighting, directing, posing, and more, we are professionals, teachers, with more than 45 years experience between Britt and Daniel M in Education and Photography. We offer regular creative shoots and proven classes to meet all Photographers needs, and are the busiest, largest, most successful (and longest running) model / photography group in San Diego or So Cal. We welcome the nicest of people as members to enjoy improving all camera related skills and build portfolios
shooting interested model - both amateur and professional.

Our shoots / workshops / classes take place in studios and on location all around gorgeous San Diego and the North county.

Pro or Amateur Photographers, Models, Actors, Make Up Artists (MUAs) Hair Stylists, & Body Painters are all welcome.

Our aim is to assist learning & enjoyment of quality modeling photography, to make exciting top quality photographs that can be used for professional recognition.
Members - models and photographers - can learn both modeling and photography techniques with Pro-Am that are established, creative, and effective to help them improve, enjoy the process, and reach their goals as photographers (or models)
More than 500 Pro-Am events have served the creative community at all levels so far and members suggest their favorite locations and themes and are welcome to participate without limit.

Any Instructor we use is not just a professional photographer - currently working as such (with degrees and/or many years of photography experience to share) but also are all professional educators, trained, qualified and experienced as well as passionate about photography.
The quality of instruction from Pro-Am teachers is proven over time and ensures members obtain valid useful information that makes sense to their individual way of thinking/learning style.

Pro-Am shoots are workshop style. Lower prices on many shoots for those that shoot natural light shooting or have their own lighting.We offer TFCD (and some paid shoots) to models that include NON COMMERCIAL model releases and models right to approve and veeto any images.

Experience, Professional development, friendships, helpful practice, useful team work and relationships grow from our leadership / In studio, indoors and on location - with natural light or studio lighting / equipment.

Being involved with Pro-Am means MODELS NOT having to pose for shady people or deal with shady situations before, during or after the shoot. A talented, caring, professional, experienced, understanding female ex model / chaperone is in charge.

Being involved with this photography group will make it possible for SD and visiting models to safely and productively create a range of original images from selected members - that can be as extraordinary and fantastic as you are.

Portfolios of value are achieved fast - with training, professional support and advice for all.Models may schedule their own themes, dates and locations & can arrange shoots with MUAs Shoots are respectful, relaxed and fun but Professional - with ethical considerations and concern for the emotional, legal and physical well being of all participants, especially minors.

Whatever your level of experience, ethical photographers are welcome.

PHOTOGRAPHERSPay a low Shoot Fee (covers all planning, inquires, organization possible before during and after the shoot & BASIC instruction and release wording) Nominal extra fee for improved professional results providing lighting and instruction by request.

Some Professionals members are here for the fun and pleasure of an easy shoot with  Pro-Am or are along to help. Other members are new to working with models.

MANY PHOTOGRAPHERS are now getting work as a photographer because of the skills, abilities and results they achieved here at PRO-AM. You will learn to understand photography, learn all about natural lighting , strobes and studio lighting as you wish. You can learn how best to work with models, how to communicate and direct - creating a strong varied Portfolio, skills and talents in this fantastic, but competitive, field.

CREDIT the team, PRO-AM, MUA's, Photographers, adding their names to any image posted on-line. Never changing or editing the work without permission, retaining any watermarks and logos.

No images of any kind may be sold to any third party without a separate agreement.
