ROAD TRIP! One/Two Days Folsom/Old Town Sacramento Bike Path/Then Penryn /Auburn

This is an option of both rides, both days or choose one.

These are all NOT "no drop" rides so it is important to pick a ride which you can keep the pace. Please let me know which rides you will be doing and if you are staying over for both days.

I will be doing both rides and staying over at the Lake Natoma Inn, 702 Gold Lake Dr,Folsom. Rate of $94+$12 tax =$106.

Or you may choose to drive down the morning of the ride.

The Saturday ride is from Folsom Bike, 7610 Folsom Rd, to Old Town Sacramento on the American River Bike Path. (63.4 miles, 1437' climbing) It will be a C Pace ride. The speed limit on the American River Bike Path is 15mph, dodging joggers and walkers. We will have lunch in Old Town then return.

Sunday the ride will be from Trailhead Coffee and Cycling Lounge, 2210 Taylor Rd, Penryn. This will be a C+ ride with substantial climbing and some steep pitches. (41 miles, 2183' climbing)It will be on mostly back roads with no bike lane. We will have lunch in Auburn

Helmets are required and bikes should be in good working order.

If a ride is posted as "No Drop" that means that no one will left behind. If not posted as "No Drop", riders will be expected to maintain the pace of the ride.
