ProductTank AMS - Mobile

  • Mar 26, 2013 · 7:00 PM
  • This location is shown only to members

Hi all,

The next edition of ProductTank AMS will be focused on mobile. We will look at different perspectives, with speakers from different product areas: messaging, ecommerce and design.

Speakers for this edition are:

  • eBuddy PM - to be announced

  • Jan-Joost Kraal - Jan-Joost will speak about his experience at Marktplaats: managing the mobile apps, monetization, translation from web to mobile

Bio: Jan-Joost has 10+ years experience in mobile and online, both strategic and in-depth on each aspect of the product life cycle. After several years at Telfort, eBuddy, and Spil Games, he's currently working on the Marktplaats Mobile Proposition (Strategy & Product Management). His key interests are developing great products that consumers really want to use, and understanding what drives human behavior.

  • Matt Cottam, Cofounder and CEO Tellart - Matt will show examples from Tellart's work mobile hacking, designing and prototyping projects in both industry and academia. He will lead a deep dive into Chrome Web Lab–Tellart's most recent project for Google and the Science Museum in London. Matt will use the case study to reveal challenges common to any project where massive numbers of online/mobile users connect to, and control, the physical world.

Info/Bio: Tellart is an international design studio, working between the virtual, material and natural worlds to give emerging technologies meaningful form. For 12 years, Tellart has been building interactive objects and environments that connect to the web, ranging from marketing stunts to control systems, museum exhibitions, games for health, consumer electronics, medical simulations, etc.

Since co-founding Tellart in 1999, Matt has directed projects and strategy for clients such as Google, Samsung, YouTube, National Maritime Museum UK, Nokia Design, etc. –many of which have won prestigious design awards including Cannes Cyber Lyons, HOW, Lovie, and Core77. He's an internationally recognized speaker at venues such as LIFT, IxDA, Google Tech Talks, Quantified Self, and many more.
