A little about the speaker:

Bruce Garfield, former head of Artist Development and Vice President of A&R at Capitol/EMI Records. Mr. Garfield led the development of Duran Duran, Bob Seger, The Band, Steve Miller Band, Thomas Dolby, The Motels, The Knack, Missing Persons, Iron Maiden, Natalie Cole, Billy Squier and many others. He later started his own management company, Monster Management, where he independently managed and developed artists including Sinead O’Connor, Isaac Hayes, WAR, and Ziggy Marley.

"Kidnapped from my cradle by music business gypsies I have been working with world renown recording artists for 39 years. Starting off in the merchandising end working with artists like Led Zeppelin, Cream, Jimi Hendrix, The Doors and many more, I then worked for producers and indie labels before a 14 year run at Capitol/EMI Records as head of Artist Development and Press Departments, then A&R." ~ Bruce Garfield They'll have a full bar at the space and it's a great place to socialize.
