Looking for something to do?  How about the Coast 2 Coast Music Industry Mixer, NYC Edition?  Let's meet at Webster Hall and check this thing out. I just found out this is happening and I've never been to one of these events.

You get to network and you can submit your work, a song, to have an opportunity to perform the evening of the event and you can win valuable prizes.

It cost $11.24 to register ($10.00 + a $1.24 fee) and you can pay online via PayPal or credit card.  If you're a DJ or in the media, you can attend for free.

@ Jessica: Yes it costs money. Click the link I provided to purchase your tickets. @Noah: I don't know why DJ's are exempt. If I have to make up a reason, I'd say it's because DJ's are potential performers at the event, and can submit their work to be considered for a performance that night. A free pass is a recognition of their status as a potential performer. But really, all that saves them is eleven bucks.
