Social Capital, Social Networks, the Individual, and the Law of Human Progress

Interaction between individuals, often termed “social capital”, is perceived to have economic value. Recent advances in technology, such as the Internet and mobile communications, have facilitated the formation and operation of social networks. Albert Dépas will explain, compare and contrast the concept of social capital in networking with Henry George’s Law of Human Progress. What does membership of a social network mean for you?

Albert Dépas, a visual artist, poet, and educator, is the author of Metamorphosis of Joy, a collection of poetry published by Mega Press. He is the founder of - a social network site. Mr. Dépas holds a Master of Arts in International Education from New York University.

Seminars for June 2014 are free of charge thanks to the financial support of Mr. Warren Towns.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
