Are you an artsy, smartsy, punky, freaky, or geeky parent of a little one? Wouldn't it be great to meet other people who have more than parenthood in common? Our group - Progressive Parents of Infants and Toddlers - is for families who share eclectic, left-of-center cultural interests and progressive values, and have babies born in 2010 (and some in early 2011).  

Many meetups will be in Burbank, Glendale, Pasadena, and Silverlake/Los Feliz areas (park outings, at-home playdates, restaurants, farmers markets, cultural club, potlucks, etc..), but we also meet for outings and events across Los Angeles (museums, zoos, hikes, concerts, etc...) . There are a lot of activities for parents where we simply bring our young babies along for the ride, but they will of course get more interactive as the kids get older. Most of the meetings will be on weekdays, but there will be evening and weekend gatherings as well. Feel free to suggest a Meetup, we're always up for new adventures!
