About Lolita, By Vladimir Nabokov:

(pp. 317, 1955, Russian American)
Awe and exhilaration--along with heartbreak and mordant wit--abound in Lolita, Nabokov's most famous and controversial novel, which tells the story of the aging Humbert Humbert's obsessive, devouring, and doomed passion for the nymphet Dolores Haze.Lolita is also the story of a hyper-civilized European colliding with the cheerful barbarism of postwar America. Most of all, it is a meditation on love--love as outrage and hallucination, madness and transformation. (amazon.com)

Here's how they say the Refinery started: "The concept that good food, prepared by professionals who are passionate about their craft, who spend their off time learning new techniques, who get giddy during morel season, should be made available to everyone."

While I looked forward to meeting everyone and discussing "Lolita" my car had another plan. Alas, I'm stuck in Pinellas. Please count on me for next time!

My RSVP is tentative, since it is on a week day; not sure if work will interfere, but I really want to be there!

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
