Project Yoga Richmond is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit yoga studio and community space.
We work to make yoga accessible & affordable.
Donation based classes at our studio | Outreach Programs in our community | Continuing Education for Teachers & Students
We believe yoga is transformational and has the power to heal and strengthen individuals and in turn, whole communities, so we work to make it accessible & affordable to practitioners across the greater Richmond area.
Our physical studio (where the majority of our publicly offered classes and events happen) is located at 6517 Dickens Place, Richmond VA 23230. The funds raised through our regular offerings assist us in providing instructors to groups in need in our community. Our in-studio classes are unfortunately NOT free, but we allow donations in any amount. We suggest $10 cash or card, but you can pay any above or below that amount, and no student is EVER turned away due to a lack of ability to pay.
We don't require pre-registration for regularly scheduled yoga classes; however, we encourage early arrival, 15-20 minutes prior to class start time, to check in and secure your spot. We don't allow late arrivals once class gets underway and the door is locked at the beginning of class. Classes are offered on a first come, first serve basis. Once a class fills up unfortunately we must close entry! Such is the down side of serving so many. We greatly appreciate your dedication and support!
We do have mats and props to use in classes. We are happy to lend you a mat; however we ask that you wipe down your mat with cleaner provided after class. If you have any additional questions please first check out our FAQ page: http://projectyogarichmond.org/faq
