UPDATE--there will be a bit of unique fluffy stuff to frolic in, but NOT MUCH-- according to the unique DOWNTOWN CROSSING LOCAL hourly forecast, hardly any accumulation:
T stop= North Station.
So, GO, HATS!
PLEASE WEAR UNIQUE HATS if you have one. (If you don't that's OK).
THAT IS HOW YOU WILL FIND YOUR FELLOW CRAWLERS & startle the passers-by. We did this before, last April on a very popular crawl.
Blinking LED lights: ALLOWED. Bells: ALLOWED.
I will be wearing a Tigger the Tiger hat float.
THIS IS CO-POSTED TO SOCIAL FUN, FUN WITH ALCOHOL, AND FACEBOOK (with the Boston Society of Spontaneity).
This crawl is event-hosted by Duncan.
4:00 PM: The Harp. Opens at 4:00.
5:00: McGanns-- opens at 5:00.
6:00: North Star-- offers $10 pitchers.
7:00: Hurricane O'reillys--
8:00: Grand Canal-- offers $3 draft beers.
9:00: Boston Beer Works (no cover).
Please don't complain about the 3 blocks walking, that is a clever disguise for a mix & mingle.
The somewhat convoluted route is based on talking to management about crowding, noise levels, & to avoid covers.
Don't forget your cameras in case we spot any Reindeer.
From the Harp, turn right down Portland St. to McGanns. From there continue down Portland St, turn left on Valenti St. then again left on Friend St. to get to the North Star. From there return back down Friend St. turn left on Valenti, then left to Hurricane O'reillys. After that we head back down Canal St to the Grand Canal. After that we end up at the Boston Beer Works half a block away.
