The Google Book Settlement 2.0: What You Really Need to Know

This location is shown only to members

The Google Book Settlement is the most talked about and contentious development in today's publishing industry and may prove to be transformational in the ways digital books are produced and sold. It’s also widely misunderstood. If you’re confused by the Settlement, want to learn what's in the new version, or would like to get to the bottom of what it really means for our industry, this talk is for you.

Michael Healy is closely involved in the Settlement, having been appointed to be the first Executive Director of the Book Rights Registry, a non-profit organization set up to represent authors, publishers and other rightsholders.

    Thank you for organizing.
    Well-worth the time invested!
