Right, I didn't mention in my earlier comment that the interview format worked brilliantly. Kept things on target and moving along nicely.

I loved the interview format. I left feeling really energized both Michael Healy and John Sargent are excellent speakers. I think it was my favorite yet. Kudos.

Interviewer was excellent. Sargent was honest. A privilege to hear their conversation.

Very good format - liked the interview method and Michael Healey is very good at it. Maybe a longer period of time for questions would have been better.

I thought that this was a wonderful change, and the interview format was perfect. Especially with Michael Healy knowing John. No product just really good information.

I thoroughly enjoyed the interview format and felt John Sargent was forthcoming and informative. As one who is now self-employed and works from her home office on Long Island, it’s enjoyable to get together with others in the industry. Thanks for the opportunity.

I thought John was an accessible and engaging speaker. As this is my first event I don't have a point of reference- but I also thought that the interview format was conducive to keeping the conversation moving in a direction- that said I would have liked more time for questions at the end.

It will be very difficult to top this, I think, a CEO from one of the big six who has been in the middle of a well publicized imbroglio. The interview format worked extremely well -- no one needed the speech -- and the questions afterwards allowed for interaction. Of course, the founder of Twitter isn't bad. :-)

Really enjoyed it. Could have listened to him speak for 2 hrs...

John was humble, engaging, insightful, and likeable. A great event.

Wish we'd had more time for more questions, but enjoyed the conversation. Also wish there was more time for actually meeting other participants (there may have been an opportunity -- I had to leave)

Best one yet for me--wonderful insights by John and outstanding moderation by Michael to cover so many fascinating and impt areas. Terrific. Wish there was more time for Q&A but maybe you could get John (or Brian N on piracy) back? Thanks so much. ARM

I thought this was one of Publishing Point's best events. It was great to hear from a CEO about where he thought publishing was headed and how eBooks and other new technology fits into the publishing picture. Plus John was so candid with his responses, there was no corporate marketing speak, just honest answers.

Sargent was good speaker, clearly opinionated, level-headed, and seemingly honest in his summation of his experiences. I found the talk quite interesting although sure I didn't agree with each of his opinions, he is clearly a major player.

Good insights into what's going on in the marketplace and future paths of the biz. Interview format worked well.

Thank you for organizing this event! I assumed it would be informative as Mr. Sargent is the CEO, however, he is also a wonderful speaker. This was the best and most informative event I've attended. The prepared Q&A sessions with Mr. Healey was also very effective, since time is so limited. Thanks!
