Why not? Learn how to make bitters

This is not specifically about wine, but it's sounds like so much fun! Why not learn how to make bitters? Come to The Barrel Thief in Fremont to learn how to make your own. Many bitters recipes are tightly-held secrets and are used to add extra "umph" to a dish or cocktail. Now is your chance to learn how to make your own. Impress your friends or make them extremely jealous. Or both.

Price: $25.

More information and ticket purchase is at http://bitters.brownpapertickets.com/.

I was all set to go until I realized that my schedule won't allow it. I am seriously upset that I won't be able to host/attend. The event will be hosted by the very person who put it together and new PSWM member, Christopher Gronbeck! (applause)

Attendance: The event will only hold 20 people. This event page will not monitor the number of people who have signed-up through Brown Paper Tickets. The Barrel Thief will likely cut-off ticket purchases when/if they reach capacity.

Please only RSVP if you have purchased your ticket. Again, I won't be able to make it. Nevertheless your RSVP lets other PSWM members know who will attend. They will start promptly at 7pm.

Parking: It's Fremont, sooo....yeah. Since it's on a Tuesday it may not be too bad.

Good although the venue was a little cramped and there wasn't much tuition about what ingredients worked best together. We were left to our own devices to put a mixture together. That said, people were friendly and I met some lovely people I hope to see again soon.

Sounds like a blast. And the Barrel Thief is such a better name then wine, tea, and chocolate :)

Sorry for the confusion, folks. The event will definitely be at The Barrel Thief. What I am asking for is a person to represent the group in my absence. To greet members and just be a familiar face. If this can be you, let me know.

If the Barrel Thief cannot host, I can host it at Tim's Tavern. 602 N 105th St.

Pro parking tip: we have free parking in the lot behind our building. Enter via the driveway on 35th St., just west of us, marked "Saturn Parking Only". You can ignore time limits in the lot (but not the disabled parking spaces). Thanks!
