@Akshay Mathur: It was good session, even you covered some introductory topics like CoffeeScript, BackBoneJS... It was good! Please update here about CSI Workshop on JS which will be conducted after diwali.
I specially thanks for @Akshay, who gave some information about books and tools at end of the session. @Akshay, I would like to request you, can we arrange one more meetup on the same in that you contribute your advance knowledge?

Tools : jsLint or jsHint ( you can use them online too http://www.jslint.com/ ) recommended only for new code as linting old code could end up breaking code and add bugs.
Reference Library : jquery , you can open it and learn how its coded, and learn from it.
There many nice books but these are very first things you should do.

@Akshay Mathur: Thanks for such a great session on JS.
As a web developer i got some basics clear which was previously not cleared like OOPS JS where we spent a lot time on that.
Also it was interactive session but i want to give some suggestion to make the Meetup more interactive and helpful to the New comers.
In today's meetup i thought the back benches are not getting time for interaction so which makes discussion closed for the frontier people. So it should be focused that all present people are in interaction.
Also Let the people speak who knows anything as sometime Akshay wants to talk.
So arrange such sessions in a month once/twice so that we can have more discussion.

The session was interactive. But some of the topics were not discussed in details like the OOPS features in JS and prototype. Next time please have additional 30 mins session only for questions and answers.
Thank you very much Akshay Mathur for your professional guidance looking forward to learn many more new things under your guidance.

The session will have code samples to explain certain concepts. Since this is basic session, IMO hands-on is not required.
- Declaring variables, Objects
- Basic syntax
- Conditional statements
- In-built functions
- Defining and calling functions
- Demo (as required during the presentation)

Has someone already planned the session?
If not, I can take a session on JS for newbies if enough number of people interested in it and location is convenient.
The description says that you (and others) have learnt something.
It will be good if that 'something' is known and objective of the session (what we want to achieve) is clear.
