I really enjoyed being reminded of the six paramitas that Buddha taught all throughout his life. We often get frustrated dealing with difficult people in life but in this skype meeting, we learned to practice the six paramitas: 1. Kindness 2. Keeping your words 3. Patience 4. Effort 5. Self-reflection 6. Wisdom. We get angry at others whenever our eyes look outwardly instead of inward. We don't need to change others. The change we want to see in the world should be cultivated from within. By doing kindness, for example, even if it means smiling, saying thank-you, I'm sorry when we make mistakes, and soothing words to others, we brighten the environment where we are. We gain by giving! This is known in Buddhism as the spirit of benefiting oneself by benefiting others. I really enjoyed the stories and concrete examples of Nanda, who really wanted to offer an oil lamp to the Buddha and Anathapinthika's story as well. Tomorrow's topic will be an answer to last week's question from one of the participants. The question was: "How do we put into practice the teachings of Dharma when dealing with individuals who use their energy on negative behavior? especially when you can't get away from these people at the moment."
We will answer referring to the six paramitas taught by Sakyamuni Buddha and the mirror of Dharma reflecting our image as a human being. Have you ever wondered who you are and have you ever felt how difficult it is to get along with certain people? Then this meeting is right for you! See you then on skype. Send a contact request to OneBuddhism on skype.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
