Learn Python The Hard Way - week 2: exercises 18 to 33

This week we will be working on (reviewing/completing) exercises 18 to 33. Congratulations, you’ve gone past half way! You’ve probably noticed that we’ve really picked up the pace on week 2!

For week 3, there are fewer assigned exercises (34 to 45), but it may take longer to go through them than week 2, so plan accordingly.

Here is a link to Zed Shaw’s Python tutorial: http://learnpythonthehardway.org/book/

Here is an overview of the entire LPTHW program (you should have covered much of the material before each meetup to make the most of it):
Week 1: Exercises 1 – 17
Week 2: Exercises 18 – 33
Week 3: Exercises 34 – 45
Week 4: Exercises 46 – 52.

Sorry, I'm sick so hoping that someone else can take my spot. I've changed my RSVP.

This is just a structured orientation for self-study, so yes, we can review your questions.

Anyone leaving/commuting from SF around 4:30pm? Would love to share a ride there if possible from downtown.

If you take Caltrain, I can give you a ride on the way back.

That's OK, but you will need someone to give you access. I will post a phone number as it gets closer to the meetup for those who are coming.

wish I could go but my retail work schedule is terrible. I will just give you an update on my progress and ask questions.

Sure! If it helps, use the Meetup schedule to set a pace for yourself. And email anytime, too.

Katice, if the tutorial gets boring, check out Codeacademy (in case you're a complete beginner), I personally liked it more.
