Introduction

I'm Pamela Fox, a frontend engineer at Coursera. I spend half my time on JS, half in Python, I like them equally well. I do a lot of App Engine programming, both in Django and Flask.

What kind of projects are you working on?

Hi Pamela! First, I want to say thanks for your support through my code learning journey
I was part of team "Relax, It's Parallax" in neoHack2014. I fell ill had to leave the hackathon after the pitches, before the awards.
Our team won "Most Persistent" and were each awarded an O'Reilly book. Do you know how I may retrieve my prize?
Also I'm curious about the prizes awarded to all participants, the additional free month of access to Treehouse and the other sponsor that is a learning site.

Thank you for the awesome workshop! CSS seems so much less scary now.

Pamela, I am a visual artist who needs help with a new site with a link to my existing site. If there is someone in your group who would want to work with a visual artist (a photographer for 45 years) and who will trade for art and/or portraits, please have them get in touch with me. Thank you so much! Happy/L.A. Hyder ([masked]). For my old site with color work from 1994-2004: www.lahyderphotography.com
p.s. I am always asked to donate, so I will say I can pay once I start selling.

Hi Pamela! I just filled out the Google IO form and I was wondering if there's anything I can do to improve my chances of getting in? I currently am working on founding a non-profit aimed at teaching young-adults (20-22 year-olds) how to program (the unemployment rate in West Oakland for 18-24 year-olds is embarrassingly high).

Hi Pam - I'm trying to sell my ticket to the game dev workshop tonight. I mistakenly changed my RSVP to no so a spot opened up even though my ticket is available. Will I still be able to sell my ticket?

Hi Pamela, are you the same Pamela Fox I worked with at Google! You're doing great work. I can't make tonight's meeting but would love to come to future meetups. If there is ever anything I can do help the Girl Develop It team, please let me know.
