Rolling your Own ORM: The basics of storing objects for use later

The aim of this talk is to cover the basics of what an ORM is and how they're used in pretty much every web application anyone has ever used. We'll write a simple ORM for flask that ends with a micro blog system.

The project skeleton will be posted a day or so before the meetup

we're aware of the platforms which could be used for broadcasting the meeting.

note to self, enter submits comment and doesn't insert newline. We're aware of the platforms, the problem usually ends up being more of "how do we record this in a way that it works the way it should" Getting clear audio from the speaker, clear audio from the audience, screencast and video all at the same time has always been tricky in my experience. Relying on client programs rarely works due to intra-os and intra-browser vagueries. I'm happy to discuss farther if you'd like but I suggest that we find something other than meetup comments :)
