THE POWER OF POSITIVE!!  NASSAU COUNTY & QUEENS   I'm looking for a select group of women in their 50's and 60's who are normal, sane, secure, otherwise fabulous and unscathed by the events of their past.  Not looking for the drama queens among you or the insecure, the angry or the bitter. I know we can meet to rejoice in our single, middle aged and senior years.  If your husband remarried and has three kids with the new wife and you are still pissed off about it - we don't want you.  If you were left at the alter as a twenty something and you're still facebook stalking the guy, we don't want you.  If your husband died 10 years ago and you are still wearing a black dress and a bun in your hair, we don't want you. If your last date was in the 1990's, we don't want you.  If you have to use the ladies room with 2 other women, we don't want you.  If you need someone to drive you back and forth to a meetup, we don't want you.  If you can't decide whether or not, you really want to come to a meetup, we don't want you.  If you think you have to be pessimistic because your blood type is B negative, we don't want you.  If you are one bad relationship away from owning 25 cats, we don't want you.  But, if you have successfully left the bad stuff behind - we want you.  If you have picked yourself up by your bra straps and reinvented yourself at least once in your lifetime, we want you.  I have no patience for those too dumb to realize how short life is.  We will all spend way more time underground than we will dancing above it. Let's meet for margaritas, have brunch, go to the theater, get together for movies, for good conversation or even dare I say, try a singles event or club once in a while.  BEING POSITIVE IS THE ANSWER - SURROUNDING YOURSELF WITH LIKE MINDED FRIENDS IS THE ANSWER - TELLING THE WORLD TO WATCH OUT, HERE YOU COME IS THE ANSWER.  Try to spend each day as it is your last one because unfortunately, one day you will be right.  Join us to spend some quality time with quality friends.
