Viewing the film Qi-gong, Ancient Healing and practicing Cleansing Qi-gong

We will be viewing the film Qi-gong: Ancient Chinese Healing for the 21st Century. This educational and delightful film reveals Qi-gong's fascinating orgins and ideaology and its profound healing effects.

Please join us for an enjoyable evening of education and practice. After viewing the film we will follow Francesco & Daisy Lee Garripoli in the practice of Zhang  Fu Gong

Qigong for Cleansing – Organ Cleansing and Strengthening Qigong (or as it is known in Mandarin Chinese – Zhang Fu Gong) is a unique and powerful Qigong form. Designed as one, flowing healing workout that takes about 10 minutes to complete, many people find this to be the daily practice that they’ve been waiting for. This easy to learn set includes a warm-up and energy balancing phase and then moves into Qigong forms specifically focusing on cleansing and strengthening the heart, lungs, liver, stomach, intestines, kidneys, gall bladder, brain and nervous system. The set ends with another energy balancing and settling phase, leaving you refreshed and empowered. For years people around the world have been incorporating this effective exercise routine into their personal healing program.

This Qigong form helps you use your focused breathing to full advantage, combining movements with proper inhales and exhales. The key to this Organ Cleansing and Strengthening Qigong form is to understand the energetic nature of our internal organs. The ancient Chinese medical Masters mapped a comprehensive system of Qi (chi) energy channels (meridians) that linked all our organs together. The smooth flow and expression of Qi through these channels, known as the Jing Luo, was key to good health. Using the breath in conjunction with specific movements and mental visualizations can actually facilitate this Qi flow.
