On June 18, Steve will not be leading the regular Wednesday qigong at Florida Community of Mindfulness, but Salima will instead be leading a yoga-style mindful movements session.

Steve will be back to lead qigong again on Wednesday, June 25.
Qigong is Chinese yoga and meditation that involves gentle but surprisingly effective ways of moving and caring for the mind and body. It uses low-impact exercises drawn from Daoism, Buddhism, traditional Chinese health practices, and even Asian martial arts traditions. Sessions include 50 minutes of simple warm-up exercises and short movement forms to stretch and condition the body. Appropriate for beginners and people with more experience. This class currently meets on Wednesday evenings 6:00 – 6:50 at the FCM Practice Center.
There is no charge for this class, but donations are gratefully accepted. All are welcome, regardless of ability to contribute.
