These are a few of the many benefits of Qigong once incorporated into daily life.
Qigong is over 5,000 year old practice from China pronounced (Chee-gung) involving similar but easier movement to yoga and tai chi. Qigong is the core of martial arts, tai chi and acupuncture.
These movements are synchronized with deep breathing to improve overall health.
With deep breathing large amounts of oxygen is supplied to the body; the body uses the oxygen for fuel for the maintenance of health and repair as the immune system focuses its effort on keeping the body healthy to fight off disease and ailments.
No experience necessary. Ages 16 and up. Chairs available if not able to stand.
8 week session $120 for Boca Residents $150 for Non-Residents
Per Class $18 Boca Residents $22.50 Non-Residents.

If you are new to the class, please arrive early in order to register and be on time to class you won't want to miss the introduction. Key secrets of Qigong are given in these times.
Please bring yoga mat you will need it, wear comfortable clothing & athletic shoes, or kungfu/taichi shoes if you have them. No sandals are permitted.
8 week Qigong Class meeting once a week on Thursday evenings 7PM at Sugar Sand Park Community Center.
