This group is for all levels of students, be prepared to burn more calories than jogging in a Qigong class while standing still and reduce stress.  Beginners to Qigong get more hands on training and guidance to assist in proper form, while advanced Qigong students tend to bend their knees deeper, root in and enter into a deeper state of "Bliss".  This Qigong class has been formed to bring like minded health conscious people together for Qigong, breathing exercises and moving meditation practice. Qigong is for any age level and level of fitness, no previous experience required.  Our youngest Qigong student is 14 years old and our eldest Qigong student is 86 year old and getting younger and stronger each day! Class is usually 45-55 minutes, sometimes we stay longer and move into another form or do Medical Qigong.

Qigong, literally means working with the energy of life or cultivation of energy/qi. Qigong integrates the mind-body healing method using the coordination of breath and gentle movements of the body. Focusing intention and cultivating energy aka "Qi", while practicing allows for the body to increase energy to rebalance itself and function on an optimal level. Learn to cultivate one’s own healing energy, feel a palpable energy field with Qigong practice and quiet the mind. Qigong is gentle, burns calories fast, increases metabolism, circulates blood flow, strengthens the body, mind and spirit practice, creates confidence, empowers & transforms you, all while reducing stress.

There are two instructors for this Qigong group; Lisa K Perdue, and Enrique Diaz.

Most TUESDAYS we hold an evening class that is held OUTDOORS 7PM-8PM located at Lake Wyman Park at 1500 NE 5th Ave, Boca Raton, FL 33432      (On the Basketball Court) you MUST RSVP beacuse we DO NOT meet every Tuesday and want to make sure there is an instructor available before you show up. We usually have on blue or white t-shirts that say QIGONG Community on them.

THURSDAY nights at 7 PM classes are held at the Sugar Sand Park Community Center for an INDOOR Qigong Class.  Sugar Sand Park is located at 300 S. Military Trail in Boca Raton, FL.  Please call the Parks Department at 561.347.3900 to secure your spot in our class.

Space is abundant for our outdoor Qigong classes and depends on what weather Mother nature allows for, if it rains class is usually still on under the pavilion if there is not too much wind. If you feel it's cold, wear layers when doing Qigong you heat up quickly.

Once a month we hold the space for a FREE QIGONG CLASS ON THE BEACH usually Saturday AM, check back for times and we meet at A1A & Palmetto Park Road at the Pavilion.
