The mission of Q talk is to bring together the LGBT and Straight communities in a talk show format, using direct and frank discussion, in an open, and honest forum. We aim to address issues and topics which affect both communities and provide a trusting forum for both communities to express their views and opinions. Perhaps both communities will have the same concerns but have a different view point or perhaps they have the same concerns underneath it all. We hope to show that everyone has the same basic needs to be loved, respected, and treated equally regardless of sexuality, gender, or race. The expectation is to demystify gay life and debunk rumors or stereotypes that may persist in either or both communities.
The show has segments which tackle current events, fitness, and Lifestyle. Every show has entertainers from Broadway, Cabaret, or the Pop world. We hope to make the sharing of information fun and educational. Audience participation is strongly encouraged. If the audience leaves a Qtalk show knowing something they did not when they arrived and had fun, we feel we have done our job.
