Test Planning Strategy for Agile Testing

Join us on Thursday, 11th September @ 6:30 pm for a meetup on the topic "Test Planning Strategy for Agile Testing".

In today's world, life of a tester in an agile environment has become more challenging. The fast pace of frequently changing scope and managing client's expectations makes it difficult to act upon the test plan (created at the beginning of the project). This, in turn, makes it difficult to track quality as we progress towards the release.

In this meet up, the speaker, Akshay Barve, will talk about how to overcome the challenges of planning tests with every iteration, based on the historic data of test execution. The following topics will be included in the session:

• Test Scope

• Defect Management

• Identification of Types of testing

• Test Execution

• Test Metrics

This 40 min session will be followed by Q & A, open discussions, knowledge sharing and networking. Complimentary snacks will be provided.

Yes all those who came up for the meetup, I agree with you all. It was a wonderful meetup. And wow what a fantastic speaker Akshay is?He has a good pitch of voice and is talent personified and a very good buddy of mine. I wish we organize many more such meetups and keep meeting. I have great respect for our profession of QA which is ignored by many entrepreneurs who do not know how QA would be important for their products. And I will conclude this note by saying that, "Quality does not come easily, you need to dare to break the software to achieve the quality". Happy reading.

Likewise, many thanks to Akshay for presentation, to Swastika and her colleagues for organizing this meetup today. I did enjoy being part of the group, meeting and talking to experts in the field of Quality Assurance today. It was nice meeting you all today. I will now become regular member of this group since I am looking to learn more about QA profession with a hope to become QA analyst myself very soon.
