Quantified Self Austin, Show & Tell #4

Hello Austin QSers:  Join us October 16th.

thirteen23 is hosting our venue that evening:  Thanks Doug Cook, Executive Director. And street parking is free starting 6pm on Tuesdays, many garages closeby just in case (usually $5).

If you are self-tracking in any way, come and share your methods, results and insights.

6:00PM - 6:30PM  Social and Networking

6:30PM - 7:15PM  QS Show & Tell Talks

7:15PM - 8:30PM  Open Forum / Discussion

We save the talks for personal accounts of self-tracking and self-experimentation.  If you'd like to give a talk, let me know in your RSVP.  We'll keep the presentations to 8 minutes + 8 minutes Q&A.  If you have slides to show, feel free, but it's not required.

Talking points are simple:

1. What did you do?
2. How did you do it?
3. What did you learn?

I will see you there.

Good opportunity for the QS folks to show the health industry what we are made of! I hope to see ya'll there.

Hi there, not sure if there's room for another talk, but I'd like to talk about a fun game I've created for myself to self-track and keep me motivated to do different activities as well. I may or may not have slides, but for the most part I don't necessarily think I'd need any. Thanks!

Am excited about this venue...it's in the old Yarings department store building, right next door to Scarboroughs...original Austin buildings at 5th and Congress. Thirteen23 did an amazing revamp of the space, and are one of the first to occupy the space. We get to use their public 'kitchen' area. Bunch of pics on the link attached.

I'd like to attend one of these meetups but they're held on the same day as Austin JavaScript, which is a very large group that has been around for years.

Dan... I'll take a poll next session and see if there is better day-of-week. Problem is, we have so much going on in Austin, always conflicts. Maybe cycle thru a couple different days. Aiming for more frequency as well...
