Julian Lehr

"I am originally from Vienna, Austria but spent the past two years in Milan, Italy where I studied Economics and Management of Innovation and Technology at Bocconi University.Since January 2014 I've been working for Google here in Dublin.I've always been passionate about tracking things and using data to work/live more efficiently. In January 2013 I started my annual Quantify Project where I keep track of a variety of different indicators - more on that in my presentation on April 1st ;)"

Darragh O'Neill

Darragh will be taking about the link between variability of heart beats and stress.

There is still space for one more speaker if anyone would like to do a short talk on their QS experience - if you want to speak, just drop me a mail: [masked]

A big thank you to Darragh and Julian for great presentations, and to the organizers. I had a great time at the meeting!

Also - Niall asked the group about any QS apps that had a good interface and I was too slow to come up with an answer on the spot, but wanted to mention the Moves app - it's a very simple interface that visually gives you the places you've been, how you got there, and how much effort it took without getting too crazy with dashboards and numbers. But then you can still access the underlying data through their API if you are motivated to do your own analysis. I've only recently started using it but so far it seems they found a good balance, at least for my purposes.

Really enjoyed last night's meeting. People mentioned meditation during the first presentation, I don't know if some of you know the Headspace app, it's really great for that.

Great meeting at which peoples' perceptions of life logging were aired.

Thanks for reminding me Gavin - the link to Joan's survey is:
It would be great if you could take a few minutes to complete and help Joan with her research

Really enjoyed last night, first time at a QS Meetup and saw some familiar faces from the Health 2.0 group. Unfortunately I had to leave after the first presentation. Looking forward to the next one, also dug out the email from the 13th March for Joan's survey, which is next on the list.
