Seattle Quantified Self Show + Tell #12

Hi again!

I just wanted to give you all a heads up about the meeting for tomorrow night.

For you regulars, we're going to try a few new things - after all experimentation is part of QS!

We're going to start with a quick 10 minute "Getting settled" period. Come in, get some snacks, get...settled.

Then we'll start with a quick intro about QS and QS Seattle, followed by a Q&A. Since we have a lot of people coming for the first time, I hope that you'll ask (or email us ahead of time) some questions you might have about QS and QS Seattle - or even just QS related questions in general.

Then we'll have some folks presenting - covering the recent QS Conference in San Francisco and other topics.

Lastly, we'll open it up so you all can meet with each other and talk to the presenters, or to each other about QS topics that interest you.

And then of course, we'll head out before 9 and attend to an essential part of the QS meeting - the pub. (We usually head to Buckley's just down the street -

Looking forward to seeing you all there!
-Dave C

Hello Everyone!

So the big QS Conference is in San Francisco this week and we have to admit we got a little caught up in it...but have no fear!

The October QS meeting will be in two weeks. We'd love to hear from any of you who are attending the QS SanFran conference - what you saw/ learned/ etc. Bring it back and share it with the rest of us!

We'd also love to hear from any of you who want to present. If you're interested in sharing something you're doing/tracking - or have a topic you'd like to hear more about - please drop us a line, either through MeetUp or [masked]. As we get closer to the date, we'll finalize and send out the topic for the meetup.

Also, expect a few more Meetup invites in the near future. We've decided to make this a more regular meeting so we'll have one a month for the next few months! We hope to hear feedback from you all as we try a few new things - we just want to make this group work as well as it possibly can.

And as always, thanks to our friends at YearUp for providing the space, and EveryMove for sponsoring refreshments.

We hope to see you Wednesday October 23rd!

David, Gustavo and David,

Hey everyone. I'm an Austin/Singapore transplant to Seattle and running a QS, open science, and open source social enterprise:

We're spreading science-based lifehacking bootcamps around the world: And in the process infusing science into "self help".

Many of you might be awesome speakers for the Seattle bootcamp on 16-17 November at Hub Seattle. And we could definitely use your help in spreading the word! Site will be up and ticket sales starting soon.

    We're also hiring:

And sadly I will actually miss this meetup--out for a wedding. But one of our team members should be there. Please feel free to email: james at
