Not as much as I'd like to be! Currently wearing a Misfit Shine which tracks steps per day and some version of sleep/deep sleep.
I collect a lot more data than I evaluate, and am on the hunt for better methods of data summarization and use.
Beyond personal biometrics, I'm very interested in trackable measures of quality of relationships/social support structures, level of engagement, sense of purpose and other "harder to quantify" factors that researchers have found correlate highly with a sense of well being. I'd love to learn more and work with time studies, experience sampling method (ref Csikszentmihalyi's "flow state"), and other systems that give us ways to help people track progress on important goals over time.
My students call me Dr Mel. I'm on a quest to help people measure and maximize the different aspects of life that factor into "Quality of Life." Feedback systems rock!
