Matthias Troyer, ETH Zurich: Quantum Annealing and the D-Wave Devices (Stanford)

Dr. Troyer will talk at our seminar at Hacker Dojo on January 22. Here is a reminder of his talk at Stanford Physics Colloquium this week for those who cant't wait to hear him. Note different time (4 pm) and different place. The Hewlett building is about 300 m (1000 ft) to the right  of Main Quad after Sequoia Hall on Serra St. Room 201 is on its left end. It has two entrances, one at ground level and another at second floor. Parking is free starting at 4 pm, but finding a spot can be a challenge. The lectures begin at 4:15.
