this is wonderful Michael - and welcome to the Club -- the road, the taillights and the clouds are all going in the same direction -- really nice

It makes it look like they are speeding on that very snow covered road. Are the taillights reflecting off the opposite snowbank? Very neat.

    How did you do that??

I like the sharpness in the tracks front center- really grounds you to appreciate the flow in the rest of the image.

Paula. It was a 30 second exposure to track the movement. And I actually had to both take the photo and drive the car because there were too few cars on that back road, the light was disappearing, and I was out there without an assistant (girlfriend, lol) because it was so darn cold! I have a remote, plus I configured a 10 second delay on the camera. I drove the car up next to the camera, out of the frame, pressed the remote, waited 10 seconds then drove down the road.... I drove back, checked the exposure and thankfully I got it on the first try.

Kitty, thank you. Yup those are the tail lights reflected in the snowbank. They also light the road surface a bit.

Amy. Thanks for pointing that out. I hadn't noticed that. Cheers

Lisa, thank you. This is a great group. I hope I am able to contribute at least one photo to each assignment! There is a lot of talent in this group and I look forward to seeing and commenting on some of the fantastic work here. Cheers
