It seems that whenever anything "artsy" is going on in NYC it's always happening in Manhattan or somewhere in Brooklyn these days. So where are all the artists who live in Queens?

Queens is the most diverse borough in NYC so it only seems logical that we be the most creative, innovative, well-rounded and artsy bunch. The purpose of this group is to get all you artists, writers, photographers, musicians, filmmakers, and performers who live in this most amazing borough together and support each other, build a community, and collaborate to make something wonderful! So if you have any artistic talent whatsoever, or if you would like to develop one, join us once a month and you will be able to say you were there when it all started!

We will meet in Queens or Manhattan and create art, share past or current projects, inspire each other, provide tips, techniques, and collaborate.

There will also be occasional outings to events, museums, galleries, and the like, in Queens and Manhattan.  Suggestions for meetups are welcome as long as they are are somehow related to the arts.

Members are also encouraged to get together and collaborate outside the group and come back and share their experiences with us.
