CAFE L.I. IS ON NASSAU COUNTY CABLEVISION CHANNEL 20 SATURDAYS AT 6PM! IF YOU LIVE IN SUFFOLK, CHECK THE MEET UP CALENDAR FOR YOUR SCHEDULE.

It's like overhearing a thought-provoking conversation at your local cafe. We're talking about the who, what, when, where, why and how of local, national, and global news from a multicultural perspective.

Because Cafe Long Island is more accessible and responsive to Long Island residents than mainstream television shows, we can investigate the issues of immediate concern to currently marginalized Long Island communities, as they are uniquely affected, in the areas of business, education, social trends, the environment, politics, art and culture, civic engagement, and quality of life.

Our objective is to highlight the people and places that make us a strong island because no story is too small for Cafe Long Island, if it serves the public's interest, and there's always room for one more at our table.

At 6 there was a religious program on channel 20, which I do not think is what you wanted us to watch. But at 5 there was a program featuring lawyer Fred Brewington discussing the Long Island Project. This has happened a couple of time. I believe the time slot is wrong. The first time I watched this show at 6 it was an interview done by Marcia McNair, but since then it has been strange programs. You need to check out the time of this showcase.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.

Henry, started Reno Motorcycle Riders
