Non-paid, but you get free training and contacts in the field! Think outside of the box if you are looking for a job. Also, it sounds better to say you had a volunteer job than none at all during interviews!

Volunteer Position: Become a New York State Department of Health certified rape/sexual assault and domestic violence volunteer advocate, working with victims in Nassau County hospital emergency rooms.

Advocates must have driver's license, cell phone, email address, 18 years or older, and reside in Nassau County.

September 11th, 13th, 14th, 18th, 20th, 21st, 25th, 27th, 28th, October 2nd.

All training begins 6:30pm and ends 9:30pm.

All training located in our Bethpage Office.

Must attend 2-hour Orientation first (date to be determined).
