Dr. Richard Schloss on Religion & Psychiatry

Join us as Queens LP members attend a lecture by Dr. Richard Schloss on the subject of "Religion and Psychiatry". The event will take place on Friday, June 20, 2014 at 7:00 p.m. at the Plainview/Old Bethpage Library located at 999 Old Country Road in Plainview, New York.

Richard Schloss is a board-certified psychiatrist with a full-time private practice in Huntington, Long Island. He holds a BA from Columbia University and an MD from the SUNY College of Medicine at the Brooklyn Center for Health Sciences (formerly Downstate Medical Center). He did his psychiatric residency at the Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City. He is a longtime member of CFI Long Island, and a frequent contributor to the Skeptical Connections podcasts coordinated by Marc David Barnhill. He lives in East Northport with his wife, Meredith Jaffe, DDS, and his two sons, both dedicated freethinkers.
