Five Pointz Aerosol Art Center in LIC

5Pointz is an outdoor art exhibit space considered to be the world’s premiere graffiti mecca, where aerosol artists from around the globe paint colorful pieces on the walls of a 200,000-square-foot factory building.

The name 5Pointz signifies the five boroughs coming together as one but, because of its reputation as an epicenter of the graffiti scene, the industrial complex has actually united aerosol artists from across the world."

(The picture is one I took of "aerosol art" in a different borough.)

After we tour the art, we'll get dinner at the Court Square Diner, 45 - 30 23rd Street.

Just outside, because to go inside would cost $35 a person.

What train to get there? #7 train?

It appears that the #7 stop of 45 Road-Courthouse Square is the nearest stop. I think the G train is not running on weekends this summer, so I'm not counting the G stop.

Forget the G train and good luck getting on a shuttle bus. If coming from Greenpoint/W'burg the #62 bus stops right there.

We just grab a coffee and speak French. Some people have been coming every week for months... it creates a kind of warmth to the group.
