Social Media Marketing Made Simple and Winning with YouTube

Social Media Marketing Made Simple

You’ve probably heard of social media. You may even understand the value social media can bring to your business. Now you're wondering how do I start? In this introductory session, we cover strategies and best practices to get the most out of your social media activities.

How to Win with YouTube

YouTube had 1 billion unique visitors in March 2013. Just recently it was reported on KGO 810 that daily average online video viewership exceeds television. This is exactly why small businesses should understand the power of YouTube and how to use it to market their products and services. In this informative intro to YouTube marketing you'll learn how to use YouTube even if you've never shot a video before. It's fun and easy and can be very effective.

Special Announcement - COOKIE SWAP

For this Meetup in December, we're hosting a cookie swap. Each person is to bring (make, trade, or buy) enough of one kind of cookie to share, and munch. A dozen or two cookies will be enough. At the meeting, we can sample the treats, then trade and re-package them in appealing assortments for take home. Your host will bring cookie boxes and tissue paper. Everyone goes home with a new collection of cookies.

Note that our meeting room has changed one floor to the 10th.  Starting November 2013, we have moved.  You have a couple ways to get to our meeting place. You can drive or take BART. If you’re driving, street parking is right in front and is very easy in the evenings. By BART, you get off at 19th Street station in Oakland and walk five minutes first north to 20th Street, then right, down the hill towards Lake Merritt, east for three short blocks. We’re on the corner. You will need to be pre-registered in Meetup as Security checks your name off of the list. Please register now, and join us.
