QuickBooks Talk and Client Swap
It's about time for another "QuickBooks Talk and Client Swap"! On the "agenda": what we learned from Doug Sleeter at our last get-together, the upcoming changes for payroll tax reporters (info provided by Dennis Thompson, CFE and CPA and all-around helpful guy), and what does it cost to "move to cloud", as Doug Sleeter recommended. This is a free get-together for professionals who make QuickBooks their business. Bring your business cards, introduce yourself and your business, and meet others who can "talk QuickBooks" for hours. We've all got something to learn from and offer one-another, so come and enjoy yourself while you advance your QuickBooks consulting practice!

Keith GormezanoSleeter memberI enjoyed hearing Dennis talk about some new IRS rules regarding some number on payroll tax forms when we are filling them out for clients and Shelly's comments about her offering QuickBooks training to local IRS agents. Maybe when they understand how complicated the program is they might cut more slack to our clients who struggle with the software. While it was nice to be able to eat outside (the annual Seattle rain festival was taking a hiatus) and the food was tasty and affordable at the Ballard Loft, I couldn't hear most of what other attendees were saying due to the acoustics and the loud party behind us.
