February Digital Competition

February  Digital Competition will begin at 7:15 pm after a brief club meeting.  Refreshments and social time start at 6:30.

Categories are Open and Nature.

Theme subjects for February are:

-  Cemetary

-  Fountain(s)

-  Ice/Snow

-  Rock(s) / Mineral(s)

-  Finger(s)

- Power

This year (see new Rules under MORE tab, then Files), we have Class AA and Class A. No class distinction for Theme subjects..

Entries must be placed in the Dropbox by February 3rd.  Members may enter 2 images per category.

Only members may enter competitions.  You may enter and pay dues on the evening of the competition.

Images must be sized 1024 pixels in width and 768 in height and be 72 dpi resolution.  Images are titled as follows:   Class$Category$LastName$FirstName$title.jpg.

For new members:  If you do not have Dropbox software installed on your desktop, you can download the free software at www.dropbox.com.  Once downloaded you need an invitation to join the dropbox.  Email the digital competition coordinator at [masked] and request an invitation to the QVPC[masked] dropbox folder.  Once you get the invitation, open the email, click on the QVPC[masked] folder and accept the invitation.   You will see the folder in your dropbox.  You can copy and paste your images in the appropriate monthly category folder.

Our judge for February:  Ligia Dovale...prize winning, acclaimed wildlife photographer.  Trained eye also in architecture and painting.  Check out her website www.ligiaphoto.com
