Introduction

Hi, my name is Winona and I'm the organizer of this group. I have had a desire to make friends who have a similar quirky way of thinking that I do, so I decided, why not create a meetup group to bring us all together.

What are your interests?

a little bit of everything: performing and listening to music of all types, live shows, cooking and going out to eat, watching movies, reading, web design, photography, art shows, going out and enjoying nature when it's not being a pain in the ass, dancing, etc...

What makes you quirky?

I guess I could say that I have a different way of thinking and seeing the world. I enjoy things that others may often find strange, I always have. I don't think there were many kids who would dissect a goldfish after it had died... I suppose its my curious nature. What else... I'm drawn to offbeat, dark movies, I'm a total sci-fi/fantasy geek, I can lose myself in art and music... and I'll add more as they come to mind.

What type of meetups are you interested in attending in this group?

The regular hanging out type of activities, and also being able to discover the not-so-regular happenings in and around the city.
