Are we getting close to running through the original suggestions? I have a new one: "Room: A Novel," by Emma Donoghue. Any others?

I see this is also on the New York Times list of the top 10 books of 2010 (along with another that I've had in my Kindle queue but haven't read yet, "A Visit From the Goon Squad," by Jennifer Egan).

Is anyone interested in reading Night by Elie Wiesel or The Bluest eye by toni Morrison?

I read "Night" awhile back, but would be OK with reading it again. And I've read some Toni Morrison but not that one, so I'd be fine with that one, too.

I've read Night but would be willing to read it again. I don't care for Toni Morrison.
I'd like to read Freedom by Jonathan Franzen and A Mountain of Crumbs by Elena Gorokhova. They're both on my TBR list.

I just downloaded Franzen's previous book a couple of weeks ago, but haven't gotten to it yet. So I'd be good with both of those, too.

I am open to most ideas. Several of these suggestions I have heard good things about. I am not a big Morrison fan, could never get into her writing style, although I have read A Bluest Eye.

You're the reason I downloaded "The Corrections," actually, Lauren. Haven't read it yet, though.
