Kickoff Meeting!

Our first meeting!  Possible discussion items include:

Developing an R learning resources list;

Upcoming meeting agendas and collaborative projects;

Discussion of how users are currently using R; and

Identification of other meeting venues and locations.

The Bensalem Library said they have wifi.  I haven't tested it, but feel free to bring your laptop.

See you there!

    We're here. We are in the room near the children's area.

    Unfortunately, I will not be able to attend tonight (family reasons) but Ed promised to come and keep me in the loop - have a nice meet, guys!

    How long do we expect the meeting to go until? Unfortunately, I have work until 7, so I probably won't be able to make it in time. I look forward to the next meeting, though.

      We'll probably go until 8 or 8:30 this time. We'll figure out the best time frame for future meetings.

      Happily, my schedule changed at the last minute, and I'll be able to be there at 7.

    I love the group - is there any way we could have the meetup location somewhere more centrally located like University City or Center City?

      Hi Ming and Mike, I am interested in having a few meetings in University City or Center City. I need help finding a location. The ideal venue would be free, have wifi, accommodate 10 or more people, allow use of a projector, and be close to inexpensive parking (if possible). Let me know if you have any good candidate spots.

      I second that idea if it's possible but finding a venue in Center city or even University City with parking will be tough.
