Mitsuwa

hey I have lived in Fort Lee for awhile and see you guys know about mitsuwa but there are many other places that are probably more hidden. I lived with and know koreans and japanese people in the area who can probably show us lots of places.

Do you mean the Ichiban that was with the Best Western by Riverside Square Mall? If so, then it's no longer there. =(

Batten Ramen is quite good. There's a sushi place I heard about in Fort Lee that's supposedly some hole-in-the-wall and run by an old Japanese husband and wife, but I haven't been there yet. Strangely enough, I heard of another one in Bergenfield. I also enjoy East Japanese in Teaneck, particularly the negitoro. If anyone's looking for any yakitori or kushi places, there's an authentic one in Teaneck on Degraw.
