"Graze to Raise" 5K Charity Walk

14 people are registered to walk (I have your bibs).  We raised $[masked] total!  Thank you all for the contribution.

Day of event! Meet in front of McGinley's Pub at 5:15 to join up with the team.  You will get your Bib, map and flower there.  Please wear an Alaska Grown shirt/hoodie, any color. For those of you who can not make this start time, please see me Wednesday at New Sagaya to pick up your bib and flower.  Then look for the group wearing AK Grown shirts and Organza Peonies.

Event Date: Friday May 10th

Kick-off ceremony at Dena'ina Center
Walk Start: 6:00pm
Walk Length: Approx 3 miles

Please register online for this event and pay your entrance fee. Go to http://www.anchorage.net/charitywalk/registration and register under the Delightful Diva team.  You will need to pay the $35 fee with a credit card.

This easy downtown Anchorage amble includes appetizers from local restaurants along the path. After the walk there will be dancing and more food at the Dena'ina Center.

Also, please let me know your full name (of the name of anyone who is joining you).  As team leader I need a list. If your full name is already on Meet-up then I have it. You can post your full name here in the comments or email it to me at [masked].

If you are raising more money then the $35 entrance fee please let me know.  I am trying to get an estimate on what we have raised so far, and what we need to raise. I will also need all checks/cash/credit card orders before Monday, May 6 to turn in at one time.  This ensures that our donations go to the Eva Foundation. I will gladly come pick up the donations the weekend before or you can drop it off at my office.

    WOW I am so impressed to see so many joining this event. I want to be there so bad but as many of you know this last weekend I suffered the loss of twins and I am physically drained.     I signed up for this and registered online. Aurora, do you need my confirmation # to pick up my bib or do they keep a list of us? They said we can donate the money to any charity we want if we have $500 minimum. If there are 19 @ $35 each, we are at $665 and have topped the minimum. So,do we have a particular charity we are supporting? If so, what is it, please? If not, are we entertaining suggestions?
