Pirate Pub Crawl

Over the years I have found the best way to enjoy this pub crawl is to run through all of the pubs fast to get the stamps, usually not stopping for a drink. Once everyone has their stamps we sit down at one location and enjoy live music and food. While this is a pub crawl, it is for a cause (Blood bank of AK) and we expect our members to act responsibly.

Dress warm, and dress like a pirate, or a treasure chest, shark, ship wrecked sailor, wench or anything else you can think of.  Look for the Jolly Rodger flag and Blue/Gold Parrot to find the group.

Ahoy Anchorage! Calling all pirates & scallywags for a night of adventure and glory! Grab your mateys and set your course to Town Square in downtown Anchorage for the Pirate Pub Crawl on Saturday, September 21nd at 7pm!

The Pirate Pub Crawl is more than just a night to celebrate your inner Pirate, it’s a time to put the FUN back in FUNDRAISER for the Blood Bank of Alaska!

Come join us for a night filled with games, costumes, food, prizes and fun! Bring your crew to Town Square at 7pm for a group photo. Pirate Pub Crawl Raises $14,422 for Blood Bank of Alaska The Anchorage Downtown Partnership has been a valued partner and raised awareness for blood donation for many years. This September we again partnered for the Pirate Pub Crawl. This event encourages the community to come out in full pirate gear one night in September and stop by as many of the participating pubs as possible. Those that make it to all of the pubs receive stamps on their pirate maps and are entered into a grand prize drawing for Alaska Airline Miles. This year the total amount collected was $14,422, which was an increase of 36%. Thank you to all of our loyal pirates - We can't wait fer next year 'n be gettin' our scurvy pirate costumes ready. Argghh!

Remember to get there by 7pm if you want to be in the picture. I have a flag pole with a Jolly Roger flag and a parrot hanging from the top. Look for that to locate the group.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
