OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD

  • Nov 22, 2013 · 7:00 PM
  • This location is shown only to members

My church is taking part in this event. We will be packing shoe boxes the 23rd or 24th and sending them the 25th. If you would like to donate items to be placed in shoe boxes or fill a shoe box, I will gladly deliver them to our church. I, personally, will be creating a box for a child.

Since 1993, more than 100 million boys and girls in over 130 countries have experienced God’s love through the power of simple shoebox gifts from Operation Christmas Child. Samaritan’s Purse works with local churches and ministry partners to deliver the gifts and share the life-changing Good News of Jesus Christ.

When I left (not much left to pack), we had 172 boxes. Our goal was 200. I'm not sure if we made it.

Do they provide standard size shoe boxes (like in Canada)? Or do I need to find my own. Love this organization!

Denise, we have to provide our own shoe box, plastic or cardboard.
