Graze to Raise

We are putting a team together again this year for the 'Graze to Raise' food walk. If you have not done it before this is a very slow 5K walk that includes food!   It is a very easy walk for all ages, children are welcome.

Registration is open. Go to www.anchorage.net/charitywalk to register. Then click on the 'I want to Walk' button. It is $35 per adult and $20 per child. YOu must register online before May 5th. You need to register and pay on line for this event. Signing up here does NOT get you into the event itself.  The team is called 'Meet Up Alaska'.  If you would like to make a donation, please do so at the time you pay. We are opening this up to other meet up groups, so you may see the event in multiple groups.  I will post more information on how to register once registration is open.

I will be picking up the bibs for the team and handing them out at the event.  The actual walk starts at 6pm.  Please arrive between 5:30 and 6 to find the group and get your bib.  Without it you will not be able to eat.  Feel free to walk with the group or by yourself. Meet outside of McGinley's Pub, right of the doors near the parking lot.

Meet outside McGinley's pub on the sidewalk facing the Dena'ina Center. Between 5 and 5:30. I will get there as soon as possible, but I need to pick up the sign.

Bibs this year are purple. I am not going to wear yellow, as I don't own any! We do not have a team theme this year, and it is a pretty small team. So just be comfortable.

You need to registrar under the Meet Up Alaska group. This way all of our donations will go to our charity of choice and I can pick up your bid with all the rest. There is usually a long line at bid pickup.

OK, I've registered. Was looking for Delightful Divas. Found the correct team name easily in the original post.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
